History
The Sandhu Jat family originally belonged to the Pakhwada Village of Punjab, who later remained in Gwalior Scindia’s army and participated in the wars. Due to bravery, Maharaja Daulat rao Scindia became a believer, and when Daulat Rao Scindia captured Sheopur from Godo, Sheopur In order to get rid of the terror of the outside dacoits who were called Pindari at that time, by giving the above 12 villages of the forest area, Jat Sardar Ram Singh appointed Kailor Jagir in 1734. Due to the forest area, a dozen horses, two elephants were stationed to fight the dacoits and a dozen horses had to be sent to Gwalior if required in the presence of Scindia stent.

- Sardar Laxman Singh , He Built a grand fort on the banks of the Kailor Mesip River. Being a devotee of Shiva, he got the temple renovated and built two chhatris in the historic Shiv Mandir, Neemada Math and donated 30 bighas of land in the Nemoda Math for the worship of the temple.
