Randhawa is a Gotra of Jats found in Punjab, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan.

about Saran, Randhawa, Kajla: The Saran gotra is a branch of YaduvanshiJats. Their capital was Jangaldesh (later Bikaner State) And they rule Jangaldesh more then 300 years, which was later occupied by the Rathors. The Sarans live in this area even today.
In the history of this gotra there have been two famous men named Chaudhary Kajal Singh and his son Chaudhary Randhir Singh. Kajal Singh is the forefather of the Kajlagotra of the Jats who mostly live in Bikaner and Haryana.and Later Kajal Singh descendants Established Amarpur Estate and Chaudhary Randhir Singh who founded the village of Jhandiala in 1580 in the Punjab near Batala , his descendants are called Randhawa or Radhaw also he built a village, which he named Jhanda after his eldest son’s name. Turga, the grandson of Randhir Singh, left his father’s village and founded Talwandi, His grandson Chaudhary Targha Of
TappaDabba was adopted the Sikh Panth and while serving as Jathedar in Patiala State ruled over TarghaPargana.later his descendants founded Talwandi Estate ( Chaudhary Pardhan Singh or Pardhan Chand), Khundah Estate (founder Chaudhary Dyanat Rai ) , Chamyari Estate, Doda Estate (Chaudhary Jaimal Singh or Jamal Chand) , Kathu Nagal ( Chaudhary Dalah Singh Of Chavinda) , Samalkha Estate ( Sardar Wazir Singh, Mustafabad Estate (Chaudhary Dana Singh and IspurEstste (ChadharyDasaundha Singh ).

Randhawa – The Randhawa claim Saran ancestry. The Randhawa are one of the larger Jat tribes, found in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Lahore and Kasur districts. Prior to partition, Muslim Randhawa were also present in Amritsar, Firuzpur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar and Patiala districts.
