History
Rao Raja Umrao Singh the grandson of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Bharatpur(1778-1805) was given the jagir of areas near the capital of the Bharatpur State. This grant of jagir came to be known as Rao ji Ka Nagla. The Rao Raja’s resided at Kothi Gulzar Bhagh, Bharatpur.

- Maharajkumar Sri Lachman Singhji Bahadur, son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Bharatpur. He had
issue, four sons,:
- Rao Raja Sri Durjan Sal,married and left issue
- Rao Raja Sri Madho Singh. He d.s.p.
- Rao Raja Sri Umrao Singh. (With whom we treat)
- Rao Raja Sri Bakhtawar Singh. He d.s.p.
- Rao Raja Sri Umrao Singhji of Raoji ka Nagla. He had issue, one son.
- Rao Raja Sri Ajit Singhji of Raoji ka Nagla. He had issue, one son.
- Rao Raja Sri Jugal Saran Singhji of Raoji ka Nagla, educ. Mayo Coll., Ajmer. He had issue, one son.
- Rao Raja Sri Girdhari Saran Singhji of Raoji ka Nagla,died 1954,married and had issue,2
daughters and 2 sons.
- Kunwar Pradhuman Singhji, married and had issue.
- Kunwar Prithvi Singjji, married and had issue.
- Bibiji?? Kaur, married and had issue.
