General Sardar Balwant Singh Bahadur, DSO, CBE,OBI, OC, Zamindar of Changali Wala, was served in 1st Patiala Rajendra Sikh Infantry Regiment, who fought the Japs in the Burma jungles for the last two and a half years. The battalion claims over 1,000 Jap dead and wounded. The Colonel wore ribbons indicating serve in World War 1, on the North West Frontier, in the Western Europe in World War II, as well as in Burma. He was retired as a General and he was received DSO, CBE,OBI, OC Medals for his great services, married had issues with two sons and daughter :-
