Bakht Singh, Jai Singh, Kanwar Singh, Mathan Singh, Ram Singh, Sahib Singh and Sardha Singh, all Kang Jats of the town of Kang joined the service of Tara Singh of Dallewalia Misl and took possession of the parganah of Khamanon containing 58 villages. These seven sardars commanded 126 soldiers. The parganah was divided according to the number of horses under the control of each. After the fall of Dallewalia Misl, the jagirars of Khumanun, were transferred to Pattiala jurisdiction.
