Arab, a Jat clan, found in Multan. [It is very doubtful if the Arabs of the Census returns are true Arabs, though there may be a few Arab merchants, etc., found occasionally at such centres as Peshawar and Multan. It is possible that a certain number of Quresbis, Shaikhs and others return themselves as Arabs.]
