Buhar – a Jat clan found in Amritsar : also in the Bahawalpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer States, and in Sindh, as well as scattered over Multan and Muzatfargarh. They are labourers, tenants and camelbreeders in the South-West Punjab and intermarry with the Dahas, Palyars and Parhars, all branches of the Punwar stock.
