Mand – is a clan of Jats found in Amritsar , Multan , Ambala also in Jind in which State they offer at weddings one fourth man of sweet porridge with halwa to and light a lamp on the samadh of their sidh, who appears to be their Jathera.also the people of this clan left Multan and spread to various regions of Punjab, India. And the people of this clan belong to the Sikh Panth and Hinduism.
Along with this, the people of this clan had established a Jagir ( Bitha Estate) who had come to Ambala area from Amritsar while fighting along with Banda Singh Bahadur. They got the Jagir of five villages.
