      • Major- General Sardar Bahadur Sardar Gurdial Singh Harika, was Chief of the General Staff of Patiala, and also the last Prime Minister of Patiala State. General Harika was a Jagirdar (the chief of a minor principality) and he is credited with training the famous Patiala Cavalry Regiments. An accomplished horseman. it is said that the general knew every horse in the Patiala stables by name. He was awarded with the prestigious Order of British India (O.B.I.)   • Colonel Bhagwan Singh, Chief of Bakshiwala, was born in 1897, was commissioned as Liet. In the army in 1913, and fought bravely in Europe and afganistan from 1914 to 1919 , He was part of the 1st Rajendra Sikhs (later becoming the 1st Patiala Rajendra Sikh Infantry in 1932), also served in operations in the Middle East, an participated in the Liberation of Gaza and Jerusalem (Israel) in 1917.later, he held at the rank of "Adjutant- General", retiring in 1943 but was recalled out of retirement in 1947, and appointed Director of the Indian Home Guard,which served as an auxiliary to the Indian Police Force, was married to Sardarni Mohinder Kaur Sahiba, from village Kanech near Ludhiana, had issue, He died in 1969 :-

  • Brigadier Charanjiv Singh Harika VSM, Chief of Bakshiwala, was born in 1945, was commissioned into Scinde Horse in 1966,also he Commanded the 69th Armoured Regiment and the 1st Armoured Brigade, and having served in the Indian Army for nearly 36 years and took retirement in 2002,was appointed Chairman of the Subordinate Service Selection Board of Punjab By Captain Maharaja Amrinder Singh Of Patiala, former C.M of Punjab, from 2002 to 2007, was decorated with the VSM by president of India, was married to Sardarni Simran Kaur, from Kathgarh estate ,had issue's with one son and daughter :-
