Sardar Sedha Singh, Biswedar of Chatha Sekhwan, was born into a Jat family of Chatha Sekhwan, near Sangrur, Punjab.he was served under the H.H Maharaja Sahib Singh and H.H Maharaja Karam Singh of Patiala, his name was especially associated with the hill side extension of the Patiala State, this territory was won by the State Forces for the Imperial Goverment and he obtained it's annexation to the State.then he took up to promote the prosperity of the tract and populated several hundred villages and levied Nazrana,he put a stop to the raids od Sardars of Thanesar and Shahabad , was married had issue with a son :-
