General Sardar Bahadur Sardar Hazara Singh, Jagirdar of Gandasinghwala, was born in Sammat 1956,he qualities won for him the trust and esteem he deserved, and from 1855 to 1870 he was in charge of the Sanduqeh-i-Khas (His Highness’ Casket of confidential State papers) and had most onerous and delicate duties to perform. Later on he rose to the post of Musahib-i-Khas and Sardar Deohri of Maharaja Mohinder Singh of Patiala. and for his honesty and loyalty he was made Commander-in-Chief of the State Forces, which exalted post he held for 30 long years till his death, was married had issues with two sons :-
