History
The foundation of Arauda was laid in 1590 AD. Some Godaras who came from Raya populated it. The chieftain of the settlers was Kuber Godara. At the time when Veer Gokula raised his sword against Mughal atrocities, Gulab Singh’s son Sampat Godara was a young man here. He had shown his devotion to the purpose of Ram Dal by jointing the army of Ram Dal. Sampat’s son was Madho Singh. In the third generation of Madho Singh, Thakur Nangaram was born. He had two sons Chaturbhuj Singh and Mathura Lal. 1895.
