History
Khareta was one of the several estates founded by the Dagar clan in the Jagrauti tract during there supremacy over the Hindaun region in the later half of 17th century and starting of the 18th century.

- Chaudhary Shri Govind Singh, zamindar and chaudhary of Khareta, Naib Tehsildar in the Bharatpur state, his sister Ghuman Kaur was married to Maharaja Brajendra Sawai Balwant Singh of Bharatpur

- Chaudhary Shri Inder Singh, served in the British Army and was martyred.
