Kunwar Bikrama Singh Of Kapurthala Of Kapurthala (29.7.1879) was born in 1835 at Kapurthala Fort, He was son of Ahluwalia Jat ruler Raja Nihal Singh Bahadur Of Kapurthala and Rani Mai Hiran Kaur Sahiba . He was served during the Indian Mutiny, Commander of a contingent of 300 men, horse and foot, and 2 guns to defend Hoshiarpur, then served in Oudh until March 1859. He was attended the Imperial Durbar in Delhi, 1877. And become Honorable Magistrate 1st class and Honorable Assist Commissioner for Jullunder District in 1879. He become President of Jullunder Municipal Board.And He become the Founder of the Jalandhar Singh Sabha 1873, the influential Sikh movement committed to the reform of Gurudwaras. Well versed in English, Persian, Sanskrit, and Punjabi, he was a great proponent of Western learning and of women’s education. Kunwar Bikram Singh Of Kapurthala was also Founder of the Khalsa Press (Lahore) and Khalsa Akhbar. Lay Member of Punjab Missionary Conference in Lahore 1862-1863. Fellow Punjab University and Author of “Upma Sar Granth”. He Granted the title of “ Sardar Bahadur” in 2nd June 1858.

Personal Life –
Kunwar Bikram Singh Of Kapurthala was there first marriage with Sardarni Naranjan Kaur in 16th February 1849 at the Nihal Palace, Kapurthala, 16th February 1849 and second was with Sardarni Deva Pal Kaur ,She was died in 1939. Kunwar Bikram Singh Of Kapurthala was died on 8th May 1887 at Bikram Palace, Bikrampura, Jullunder, Punjab.
