CHAUDHARY DIWAN SINGH was a resident of Malwaregion. He was blessed by the last Sikh Guru Gobind Singh Ji and was considered as his son.
After this he was also the General of Banda Bahadur.When Banda Bahadur came to Ambala area, he conquered Ambala under the leadership of Chaudhary Diwan Singh.
And later Chaudhary Diwan Singh settled Bihta village. And got the jagir of 5 villages and the zamindari of 22 villages.
