Chaudhari Dalip Singh Of Thala, was born into a Ladhar Jat family , He was the son of Sardar Jaimal Singh , Who was the Chief Of Thala and fifth generation direct descendants of Sardar Mahan Singh ,founder of Thala Estate,He was one of the most influential Jagirdars of his region. And he also received the title of “Chaudhari” from British. Dalip Singh Of Thala has evinced great interest in various official activities for the welfare of the public.He was also served as a Dafadar in the 7th Bengal Lancers. He is a Lambardar and a Zaildar and is well-known in the district for his love of sport. He and his two brothers have each inherited one-third of their father’s Jagir of 260 ghumaons. Later his successor was Hazara Singh and become 6th Chief Of Thala.
