Karam Singh of Chhinna, was born into Zamindar family of Gill clan, when he was young he held Firozke, Chhinna, Nigran, Lala, Najra. He lost territories in 1806 to Bhatti Jat ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Lahore and was granted a service Jagir till his death. Later his son also served under the Lahore Empire.
