Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Ram Singh Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur was born at Lohagarh in Bharatpur in 21st September 1873, He was second son of H.H. Maharaja Shri Brijendra Sawai Sir Jaswant Singhji Bahadur Jang, Maharaja of Bharatpur, GCSI, by his second wife, H.H. Maharani Sri Darya Kaurji Maji Sahiba [Dadiji Jaginewali], He was done there education from Mayo College, Ajmer. He was succeeded on the death of his father on a 12th December 1893. And Ascended the “Gadi”, at Lohagarh Fort, Bharatpur in 25th December 1893. In consequence of his intemperate habits, he was deprived of his administrative powers in 1895. The administration was conducted, first by the Diwan wih the assistance of a consultative council, and later by a council under the general control of the Political Agent. His ruling powers were suspended on 10th August 1900, following the murder of one of his personal servants. After an enquiry he was deposed and exiled to Agra, 27th August 1900.
Personal life and Medals –
Maharaja Ram Singh Of Bharatpur was done there first marriage at Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 17th April 1884 with H.H. Maharani Sri Kishan Kaur ji Sahiba, a daughter of a Zamindar of Sappairah, in the Aligarh district. And second with H.H. Maharani Sri Maaji Giriraj Kaur ji Sahiba, CI (1.1.1918) (died at Lohagarh, Bharatpur, 24th August 1922), Regent for her H.H Maharaja Kishan Singh Of Bharatpur from 27th August 1900 to 28th November 1918, She was daughter of a Zamindar of Deoli, in Bharatpur state. And He received Delhi Durbar gold medals in 1903 and 1911. In 1922 during his later days he was live in in Deoli. And He was died in 1929 AD.
