Major Sardar Jasjit Singh Ahluwalia Of Kapurthala was born at Bikram Palace, Bikrampura, Jullunder, Punjab in 12th April 1893, He was son of Sardar Colonel The Hon Sardar Partab Singh Ahluwalia Of Kapurthala , KCSI
He was done there education from Aitchison College, Lahore. MLC Punjab 1911, Honorable Magistrate for Jullunder District 1915-1943, temp Hon 2nd-Lieut ILF 1/2/1918, attached 16th Cavalry 12/8/1918,Major Sardar Jasjit Singh Ahluwalia Of Kapurthala was served in Afghanistan and NWF 1919 and received Waziristan medal then he was promote to Hon. Lieutenant 1/2/1919, Then Promote to Hon. Captain of 6th Duke of Connaught’s Own Lancers 1/2/1923 after this he was promote to Hon Major in 1/2/1936 then Vice-Chair Jullunder District Board Member Punjab Historical Society and he received Delhi Durbar silver medal in 1911, Silver Jubilee in 1935, and Coronin 1937 medals, He was done first marriage with a daughter of Rai Bahadur Buta Singh, CIE, OBE, of Rawalpindi and Second with a daughter of Sardar Hukam Singh of Butari Ludhiana . He was died from pneumonia in 29th March 1943.
