Raja Sir Daljit Singh Of Kapurthala in 7th December 1882, He was Son Of Kunwar Ranjit Singh Of Kapurthala , He was done there education from Aitchison College, Lahore. Then he become Honorable Magistrate for Jullunder District, MLC Punjab 1913-1915, Member of the Imperial Legislative Council at Calcutta 1913-1915, Member Council of India (London) 1915-1917, He was Chief Minister and President of the State Council of Jammu and Kashmir State in 1917-1921, Also Raja Sir Daljit Singh Of Kapurthala was Author of “Guru Nanak” (1943), “Guru TeghBahadur”, and “Jiwan Guru Tegh Bahadur ji” in Punjabi. He was Member Punjab Chiefs’ Association, Punjab Historical Society etc. He Granted the title of “Sardar Bahadur”, and promote to the personal title of “Raja”.

Raja Sir Daljit Singh Of Kapurthala was received silver medal in 1911 at Delhi Durbar, KBE medal in 3.06.1919 , Silver Jubilee medal 1935, and Coron medal in 1937, Also He received The Nishan-i-Iftikhar 1st class, and Diamond Jubilee medal of Kapurthalain 1937. Raja Sir Daljit Singh Of Kapurthala was married with Rani Jasbir Kaur [Lady Daljit Singh] (born at Hansa, Ludhiana, September 1886 and died in December 1938),daughter of Sardar Hardit Singh, of Hansa, Ludhiana District. Raja Sir Daljit Singh Of Kapurthala died on 6th November 1946 at Strawberry Hill in Shimla.
