Rani Nanki of Lahore, was born into Sidhu Jat family , She was the daughter of General Sirdar Sham Singh Of Attariwala. She was married to Bhatti Jat ruler Maharaja Naunihal Singh Of Lahore , To the marriage were invited the Governor General, the Lieutenant Governor of the North West, and other Dignitaries; but Sir Henry Fane alone was able to attend. It took place in March 1837. The Rani died in November 1856, when her cash pension of 4,600 Rs. lapsed to Government.
