Sardar Amar Singh of Mansurwal, was born into Shergill Jat family, he was the son of Sardar Deva Singh of Mansurwal, He was received a good education, and was for some time a candidate for employment as a Tahsildar ; but he has not taken service. He acts as Secretary to the Local Board of Zira, and was the famous Zaildar of his Ilaka. He was lives at Mansurwal till his death.
