Sardar Gurwaryam Singh of Pahuwind, was born in Sandhu Jat family of Pahuwind Estate in 1909, he was the son of Sardar Gurbaksh Singh of Pahuwind (1883-1949), he was the successor of Pahuwind Estate, when he was young he remained a member of the Lahore District Board till 1947, and was also an Honorary Magistrate. Later he became an independent MLA from the Pahuwind constituency, and remained an active member of the SGPC.
On the death of Sardar Gurwaryam Singh of Pahuwind in 1985, he was succeeded by his three sons; Guravtar Singh, Bhupinder Singh and Gurbans Jasindar Singh.
