Sardar Tara Singh of Manihala, was born into Batth Jat family, was the son of Sardar Bahadur Sardar Sher Singh Batth of Manihala, he was lives at Kulla in the Lahore District, was for some years an Honorary Magistrate at Patti and was becoming a Divisional Darbari ; he was served like his father Sardar Bahadur Sardar Sher Singh with great distinction in the Haiderabad contingent ; and owns land in the Lahore District and in Oudh.
