Baba Baghel Singh Dhaliwal’s Conquest of Delhi or Karorsinghia Misl and Sikh Supremacy over Ganga-Jamnu Doab. When the vision of Guru Gobind Singh came true: Raj Karega Khalsa ਰਾਜਕਰੇਗਾਖਾਲਸਾ , Today marks the Khalsa victory over Emperor Shah Alum II and the Mughal Empire in 1783 after the countless Shaheed’s (martyrs) spilling their blood during the Choota/Vadhha Ghallughara’s. The Misls regrouped under Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and the Misls fought back against Ahmed Shah Abdali and his Afghan forces. Baghel Singh and his Karorasinghia Misl fought against the Mughals, Afghans, Rohillas, Mahrattas and the British-the taxation borders were pushed into East India Company protectorates states like Awadh.

In March 1783, the Khalsa with over 30,000 troops conquered Delhi. Jassa Singh Ahluwalia sat on the throne in the Dewan-e-am and was proclaimed Patshah (as prophesied by Nawab Kapur Singh Virk Of Singhpuria) but then withdrew. Baghel Singh Dhaliwal maintained relations with the Mughal court and ensured that seven Gurdwaras were built in Delhi. Jassa Singh Ramgharia brought the spoils of the Mughal throne back to Amritsar. The British were aghast with this new fraternity called the Khalsa.

Rattan Singh Bhangu states” Such a great historical landmark did Dhaliwal Jat ruler Baba Baghel Singh establish, That his name would shine in history till eternity. Such a great service did he render unto the Guru, That surely would he stand honored in the Divine Court”.
