Jodh Singh, the ruler of Wazirabad, died in November 1809 The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Of Lahore appointed the former ruler’s son Ganda Singh as the successor of his father. In June 1810 there were riots between Ganda Singh and his relatives. 127 The Maharaja ordered Faqir Aziz-ud-Din, the administrator of Gujrat, to go and occupy Wazirabad. Ganda Singh was relieved of his charge and was given a reasonable Jagir for his subsistence.
