Bhai Gulab Singh Of Arnauli , was direct descendant of Sidhu Jat Jagirdar Bhai Gurbaksh Singh (1725-1774), founder of Arnauli Estate and the son of Bhai Basawa Singh Of Arnauli, served the British with Loyalty during the First Anglo-SikhWars of 1845. He rendered his services again during the Mutiny of 1857, and in recognition for his loyal services the British Government granted him a Sanad (royal mandate) and a robe of honour, reducing his commutation from two annas to one anna per rupee permanently. He was also a Provincial Durbari, He was succeeded by his eldest son, Bhai Jasmer Singh Of Arnauli.
