Bhai Krishen Sher Singh Of Arnauli , was born in 1934 was educated at Aitchison College, Lahore, till 1947. After Partition, he completed his schooling from Yadavindra Public School, Patiala. He attended college in Ludhiana, before taking over the reins of the estate from his father. He had witnessed many adverse changes during his life time – notably the abolishing of the Privy Purse and the enforcement of the Land Ceiling Act of 1972. Consequently, he spent much of his later life in litigation cases in order to protect his rights and privileges. He also dabbled briefly in grass-root politics. He was passionate about hunting and cars. He was a keen sportsman who excelled in hockey, cricket and polo. He was a voracious reader and maintained a monumental library at his residence. He married Sardarni Shivinder Pal Kaur, who was born in 1939, she was the daughter of Sardar Jaswant Singh of Bering Khera and Sardarni Joginder Kaur of Kot Duna in Sangrur District. He was succeeded by his four daughters who were extraordinary women. In the 1970s, not many girls from privileged families, despite good education, stepped out into the professional world. The daughters of Arnauli are exceptional and are powerful forces to be reckoned with. They are self sufficient, confident, and have carved a niche for themselves in an erratic world.
This would have been impossible without the complete support of their dynamic parents, especially their mother, in the provision of equal opportunities. The ability to smile through times of tragedy and adversity, however, is embedded deeply in them. He was Died in 1984.
