Bibiji Jaya Kaur Of Kapurthala [Also known as Mrs Jaya Thadani] , She was Daughter of Kunwar Dalip Singh Of Kapurthala . She was done there education in England. She was Honorable Private secretary to Countess Mountbatten of Burma 1947-1948. Washington representative of “The Tribune” newspaper. Author of “When Sparrows Killed Hawks: A children’s life of Guru Gobind Singh” (1966), and “Report of the World YWCA Council Meeting, Vancouver, BC, Canada, July 12-26, 1975”. She was Joint editor of “Land of the Five Rivers: stories of the Punjab” (1965).

Bibiji Jaya Kaur Of Kapurthal was received Indian Independence Medal in 1948, She was Married to  Dr Jivat Nanikram Thadani (borm at Hyderabad, Sind, 8th September 1927; died at White River Juction, Vermont, USA, 23rd December 2021), He was done there education from Hindu College, Delhi University (BA 1939), Williams College (MA 1961), Williamstown, Maryland, USA, and the Delhi Sch of Economics (PHD 1950), joined IAS 1950, served in Punjab 1950-1957 at Amritsar, Hisar, Karnal, Mahendragarh and Ferozepur, Dir of Industries 1957-1962, Deputy Controller Delhi Cloth& General Mills Co. Ltd. 1962-1965, Dir of Industries 1965-1969, Economic Adviser for the World Bank in Washington DC 1969, son of Professor Nanikram Vasanmal Thadani, sometime Principal Hindu College and Rector of Delhi University, by his wife, ParvatiRamchandani.
