Chodhran Inder Kaur, was born in 1831 in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh: Young woman belonging to a Hindu Jat family; She was took part in the Great Revolt against British rule in 1857. Participated in the resistance against the British forces. Captured by the British and executed on the gallown in 1857.Eleven other young women were also hanged and an estimated 255 young women are believed to have died fighting against the British.
