Choudhary Bhagat Singh Of Bhalaut, Is the second son of Choudhary Hariram Phogat, born into Phogat Jat family, and a resident of village Bhalaut in Rohtak district of Haryana. He fought against the British along with his father and brother Choudhary Karan Singh Phogat, mother Chaudhran Nhanti devi , grandmother Nanhi devi. He joined freedom movement at a very tender age. He was sent to jails several times. He was awarded Taamar Patraa in recognition of his contribution in the freedom movement of India by Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India.
