Choudhary Tulsi Ram of Aherowan, was born into Hindu Jat family, he was the son of Choudhary Mughla Ram , a farmer of Village Aherowan, (Gurgaon); When the revolution of 1857 was at its peak, he also took part in that revolution. He also awakened the people of his surrounding area and got them involved in the freedom struggle. Later he was captured by the British troops and executed at Delhi on 8 December 1857.
