Maharajkumari Bibiji Kumudesh Kumari Sahiba Of Patiala[also know as Ruby] was born in 5th January 1931.She was Daughter Of H.H Maharaja Bhupender Singh Sahib Of Patiala , She was done education from Atchison College, Lahore, from Punjab University (BA 1947), and Trinity College, Cambridge (MA). She was President Cambridge Indian Majlis in 1948-1949, and joined Indian Foreign Service 1950, Vice-Consul New York 1950, Private Secretary to the Minister without Portfolio 1956-1957 and the Defence Minister 1957-1962, two years with the Minerals & Metals Trading Corporation of India, Minister at Indian Embassy in Moscow 1970-1971 Ambassador to Thailand 1971-1974, and to Iraq 1974-1976, Additional Secretary MEA 1977-1979, Sec 1979-1985, and Foreign Secretary 1985-1986, Lieut-Governor of Delhi 1988-1990, Governor of Tripura 1993-1995, Goa 1995-1996, and Uttar Pradesh 1996-1998, Chair Foreign Affairs Dept All-India Congress Cttee (Indira), President All-India Village Development Council, Patron All-India Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes of Congress (Indira), She was married with Shri Romesh Bhandari (b. at Lahore, 29th March 1928) his son was The Honorable Amar Nath Bhandari, sometime Chief Justice of the Punjab High Court.
