Major Maharajkumar Sri Karamjit Singh Sahib Bahadur Of Kapurthala, was born at Kapurthala, 9th August 1896.He was the Son of H.H Maharaja Jagatjit Singh Bahadur Of Kapurthala, He was done there education from Harrow School, Middlesex, and Lyceé Janson de Sailly, Paris, France. Dir of Agriculture 1926, Home Minister 1932, Supt Oudh Estates 1932-1939, MEC and MSC 1939-1948, Vice-president Kapurthala State Council 1944-1948 (President 1948-1949). President Kapurthala Poor House Committee 1943-1945. Adviser Kapurthala Post War Development Programme 1945-1946. Major of Kapurthala State Forces.

He was received many medals like British War Medal, India Service Medal in 1945, Silver Jubilee Medal in 1935, Coron Medal in 1937, and Indian Independence medal in 1948, Nishan-i-Iftikhar 1st class and Diamond Jubilee medal (1937) of Kapurthala, and GC of the Order of the Nile of Egypt. m. at Naini Tal, 19th November 1928, Maharaj kumarani Sita Devi Sahiba, KIH silver medal (1.1.1944) (born at Naini Tal, 30th September 1915; died at New Delhi in 2001), she was  served with the Indian Red Cross during WWII 1939-1945, President Save Mussoorie Society also Trustee John Martyn Memorial Trust, She was the daughter of Raja Udai Raj Singh, Raj of Kashipur, a taluqdar of the United Provinces, by his wife, a daughter of Raja Shamsher Singh, Raja of Bashahr. He was died at New Delhi in 7th June 1967.
