RANI LACHHMI, was a daughter of Sandhu Jat Jagirdar Of Desa Singh Of Jogki Khan , from Gujranwala district, now in Pakistan, she was married to Bhatti Jat ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh Of Lahore, in 1820. She was one of the most favorite queens of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, She survived the Maharaja and received from the British a pension of Rs 11,200 per annum.
