Rani Prem Kaur Of Lahore, was the daughter of Sardar Hari Singh, a WarrichJat, lambardar of Ladhewala in the Gujranwala district. She was married to Bhatti Jat ruler Maharaja Sher Singh Of Lahore in 1822. In 1831, she gave birth to KunwarPartab Singh, who was brutally murdered by Maharaja’s cousin Sirdar Lehna Singh Sandhawalia Of Raja Sansi, on the 15th September 1843. When she was in the age of 55 she living at Lahore , and receives an annual pension of 7,200 Rs. She lias adopted a son, Narayan Singh, son of Atar Singh, Of Bhano Bhindi, in the Sialkot district, from whom she purchased him for fifty rupees.
