Risaldar Major Sardar Mangal Singh Kakar , was born into Kakar- Kang or Kang Jat family, he was the son of Risaldar Sardar Jawala Singh, a famous Jagirdar of Ludhiana region . He was visited London at Population. the Diamond Jubilee in 1897 and has the title of ” Sardar Bahadur “. He has recently retired as “Risaldar-Major” of the 3d Bengal Cavalry.
