Risaldar Sardar Bahadur Anup Singh Of Moghalchak was born into a Mann Jat family , He was the eldest son of Sardar Jodh Singh Of Moghalchak , At that time, the Mughalchak family was one of the most powerful Jagirdar of Punjab province.entered the 1st Sikh Attitude of Cavalry, afterwards known as Probyn’s Horse it was first raised in August 1857, was present at muting. the fall of Delhi and the capture of Lucknow. In that gallant regiment, Anúp Singh distinguished himself by his cool and determined courage, and during the campaign was four times wounded and had three horses killed under him. Also he fought in campaign against China 1857-60. Because of this he received Order of Merit.
