Sardar Dalel Singh Of Malodh, was born into Sidhu Jat family, He was the elder son of Sardar Man Singh Of Malodh, who was the real brother of Maharaja Ala Singh Of Patiala, When he was young he was got Malod properties and two-thirds of the Estate. Dalel Singh was a vegetarian and he prohibited hunting, shooting and slaughtering in his district. Later he was captured Khiyali and Sahur from Raekot in 1807. The sardars of Malod were treated as Jagirdars of the British Government after 1809. 1 They helped the British in the Gorkha War in 1815. Dalel Singh died in 1824.
