Sardar Gurdit Singh Of Shamgarh was son Dhillon Jat Chief Sardar Ram Singh Of Shamgarh,He was direct descendants of Kripal Singh Of Shamgarh.he was continued to be the head of the Shamgarh family until his death in 1980. On his father’s death in 1902 he succeeded to the hereditary title of “Sardar” and to the family seat in “Provincial Darbars”. Besides he was an “Honorary Magistrate”. He-enjoyed two-thirds of the family property, which he inherited from his. father and had, in addition, an annual income of about Rs. 12,000 from other landed property.
