Sardar Jiwan Singh Mann Of Moghalchak, was the son of Mann Jat Jagirdar Sardar Sardul Singh , who was the General in the Lahore Empire army , Sardar Jiwan Singh was regarded as the representative of the family. He was a Lambardar of Mananwala, a member of the District Board, an Honorary Magistrate, and a Divisional Darbari. He held by inheritance and purchase about 5,800 kanals of land in Amritsar including the garden in that city and the shares of the ancestral village above-mentioned. Tiwan Singh was married four times. Once of his wives was a daughter of SardarFateh Singh of Jullundur; the second a daughter of Sardar Uttam Singh, Inspector of Police in Montgomery; and the third the daughter of Jat Jagirdar SardarHarnam Singh of Narendrapura in Patiala, and a relative of the Patiala Maharaja’s.
