Sardar Kapur Singh Ghuman of Sidhu, Kapur Singh native of village Sidhu near Tarn Taran joined the service of Gujjar Singh Bhangi. His wife and the wife of powerful Sardar Gujjar Singh happening to be both pregnant at the same time, it was agreed that if a boy and a girl were born they should be at once betrothed. wife of Kapur Singh soon after gave birth to a son and Sardar Gujjar Singh’s wife giving birth to a girl, so the children were betrothed and when they grew up were married. The sons of Kapur Singh acquired separate estates.
