Sardar Narayan Singh Brar Bans of Faridkot, was born into Brar Jat family, he was brought up by H.H Raja Wazir Singh Brar Bans Bahadur of Faridkot State; he had served the Faridkot State in various responsible capacities ; own a village in the State and was a State Durbari.
