Sardar Sudha Singh Bajwa of Machhiwara, was born into Bajwa Jat family, when he was young he was served under the Nishanwalia Misl and participated in many wars later on he captured the Machhiwara, 32 kms north-east of Ludhiana and the eastern portion of Utalanparganah. He decided that he would die here and establish his Estate here.
