The long standing rivalry between the two Jassa Singhs who fought on the opposite sides in the late campaign of Pathankor flared up shortly afterwards. Zahura on the Beas became a scene of battle between Jasen Singh Ahluwalia and Jassa Singh Ramgarhia in 1775. In the course of fighting Jassa Singh Ramgarhia was wounded by a gunshot, on which he withdrew, and the field was left for Jassa Singh Ahluwalia. Zahura was later on given to Baba Baghel Singh Dhaliwal Of Karorsinghia.
