Sardar Baghel Singh of Wadala, was born into Sandhu Jat family , he was the second son of Sardar Sahib Singh Of Wadala, has had a distinguished career. He rendered valuable assistanes in 1857 both in Sialkot and Oudh, and in 1873 went to the Andamans as Assistant District Superintendent of Police. He retired in 1884 on a well-earned pension and with the title of Rái Bahádur. He has sine received grants of land in Wadála, Lahore and Gujránwála. Most of the youuger members of the family have commissions in the native cavalry.
