Sardar Thakra Singh Of Retgarh was an Honorary Magistrate of Retgarh married in the Charik Estate. He had one son Paramjit Singh married to Sardarni Gursimran Kaur, the grand daughter of Sardar Gurdit Singh of Nabha with one son Yudhvir Singh. Yudvir Singh was educated at Punjab Public School, Nabha and Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala with a law degree from Punjabi University, Patiala. His interests include reading and chronicling his family history. He resides at the ancestral haveli in Retgarh with his wife and two daughters; Hashmat Kaur and Dayanat Kaur.
